Just curious what the respectable time frame for responsiveness should be before moving up the ladder. No hardcore example, just checking.

This is good, sound advice. The next step would not be to contact Marka or Yac. It would be to DM the moderator of the forum. Only then should you go to the senior moderators. Often they will tell you to contact the forum moderator before they step in. Once you contact the moderator and you feel that it was not handled properly send a DM to Marka or Yac and include all your communications with the forum Mod.

Be sure to be polite when asking a question of any moderator. I won't bother to answer those DMs that are abusive and I know quite a few other mods feel the same.

So you think 24-36 hours to respond to a report. Then PM the forum mod. Then wait another 24-36 hours before pushing it to a senior?

That sounds reasonable IF the mod doesn't answer.

It depends on what you mean by a "report". If you mean clicking on the button to "report" a post, you may not get a visible response at all. The mod may look at the post and decide no action is required, and you won't get a response about that. If you are sending a DM with a question or comment and asking for a response, then a couple of days is enough. Keep in mind, though,(and I think I'm safe in saying this) that most mods do not respond to every DM they get.

And that's most likely what I'm referring to. This selective enforcement is annoying.

If they take too long to respond or don't respond in a manner you deem appropriate make sure you ask for a refund of your fees that you pay to use this website. Wait, I forgot, it's a free public forum. Never mind.
