(Tech issue) Quoted text not appearing

I'm intermittently seeing an issue where I reply to a post and the quoted text is missing.

The 'box' with the quote just says:

(and the rest of the box is blank)

Sometimes the problem resolves by simply opening a new tab and using the new tab to read forums, and a reboot always resolves it.

I'm not seeing this with any other website, only C-D.

I am not having that problem. I use Firefox web browser on Windows 7.

First thing I would try is rebooting the system (shut it down, start it up...).

Yes, rebooting always fixes the problem, for a time until it reappears. Turns out that where all or part of quoted text was bolded, the bolded text does appear in the box but not the unbolded text. (I'm guessing that italicized or underlined text also will appear, but don't know for sure.)

I periodically have the same issue. I use Chrome.
It corrects when I close the tab and open a new one.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
