Sorry but I think the problem is on your end. Sunscape does not have her profile blocked and one can send her direct messages. You might want to try clearing your cache and cookies and restarting your computer.
Or, you could just write your message and type "Sunscape" in the recipient field...
With so many user names very similar, often one character different, and since one is typically working from memory when typing in that name, I have long considered that routing method risky. (Risk of sending the message to the wrong person). That's why I didn't suggest it and prefer the certainty of the direct link from a post (or profile, if available).
You also can copy and paste the user name into the recipient area of the DM. Copy from the moderator list, the edit/delete message of a moderated post, or any individual post by that user. As has been noted, though, this particular user's profile is not blocked.

You're the second person who has said that, so we can only conclude that you and Beretta are friends of Sunscape. The profile is blocked for the rest of us.

Edit: Or perhaps "friends" blocks don't apply to moderators?

I'm sure that Moderators can see everyone's profile. They have to have access in case someone has something that is against the TOS in the profile.
For members, yes, Sunscape's profile is blocked. I can concur on this since I did check....just cuz I'm nosy
