I keep getting the message I've exceeded my 24-hour rep limit and I don't believe that's the case. What's more weird is I keep getting it on Other Topics and just a few minutes ago was able to give a rep on the Relationships forum. I figured time has passed and went back to Other Topics. Still can't do it there...

I just checked. You have repped 25 people in the last 24 hours. I believe that would be the limit...

But why was I able to do it on a different forum then (granted, just once)?

Probably a few minutes passed and by the time you gave that rep, one of the previous bunch already got older than 24 hours...

I will try to help you get a better perspective that might guide you with what Markablue is explaining

Lets say at 2:00p.m I give out 5 reps to people
at 3:00 p.m I give out 8 reps
at 5:00 p.m I give out 7
and at 8:00 p.m I give out 4 reps.

I cannot give any more reps for that day and I have to wait til 2:00 p.m the next day for five of those reps will be free again to give since that is when the first of 24 reps was given. At 3:00 pm the next day I will gain 8 reps back and so forth...

Good grief, this sounds like scavenger hunt! Then when we don't use our allotment, it should be carried over to the next day, like vacation.

Thanks for explaining it.

To get the rollover rep plan you must sign up in a state with no more that 6 vowels in the name or more than 13 consonants, unless the first letter is a vowel. Then you can exceed the 6 vowel limit up to 9 vowels and the consonants can be expanded to a maximum of 14 unless your state is a "RED" state in which you can extend the consonants to 18 unless your senator is in the minority party under which circumstances you can only extend the number of eligible consonants to 17 unless it is an election year, during which all consonant modifications are prohibited until after the polls have closed.

You may petition for the rollover rep plan if you or a family member has a buttload of money and are in favor of donating said monies in exchange for a forum thread to be named after you or said family member, but participation in the rollover rep plan is not guaranteed and is subject to approval of your mother. We can only extend membership in this plan if SHE says it is okay. Don't like it, take it up with HER. I am not gonna go against Momma's wishes. No Way! Uh-Uh, not me.

Other rollover rep plan rules and conditions can be found on the bottom of your computer or monitor. See store for details on how to lift these objects. See your elementary school teacher and eyeglass provided for assistance with reading these rules.

Offer void where prohibited by laws of physics or grasp of reality. Other restrictions may apply as I think of them.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
