I think most of us agree, this wasn't a very good match and as much as the mother wanted another child, which is understandable, if she had any reason to believe her cancer was not cured she should not have continued with the adoption. Yes, we all know many cancers are slow growing or totally curable, but when there is doubt we have to proceed with caution.
