I am just curious. I have a friend who adopted a child from China. Now someone is offering her to buy a data book. Apparently, each orphanage has one databook. It includes all children's Chinese name, location and date they were found from 2002 to 2014. My friend already has her child's name, location and date of founding from her adoption agnecy. So she is wondering why other moms in her travel group are buying the book. She asks me, a Chinese immigrant. I feel a bit uneasy about why these childrens' info can be sold to someone who has nothing to do them. Why someone wants to buy the book? Enlighten me please!
