Any comments, thoughts or suggestions about South African pop-culture?
With the sucsess of District 9 and Die Antwoord, it seems that South Africa is coming as an exporter of pop-culture. There seems to be quite a few films and TV projects shooting there as well. The new Judge Dredd film, tv-series "Wild at Heart", "The Devil's *****" and the remake of "The Prisoner" (or was that shot in Namibia?).I Also believe that BBC’s new show Outcasts is being filmed there.
…or maybe I am just jumping to conclusions since my father has been in South Africa (and Namibia) several times with his work.
