Africa led by the West has not been given the opportunity to become self sufficient. Post independence colonization has robbed us of our identity, self worth, values, diaspora, tradition and culture. Any alternative is better than the past.

Now you're independent and have had plenty of time to develop but you have not. I'm sorry but no amount of Chinese or Indian investment will help the average African, it will only benefit a few privileged few, simple as that, and constantly referring to something that would never happen today is clearly foolish.

The white folks who have been raping the African lands a nd paying next to nothing to grab the resources there are suddenly very worried of China's presence and competition. It is of course natural for Africans to try to get as much as they can out of a deal like any business deal. The Africans started from a very low base. First they got the near-robbery "deals" from the west. Now they have got a better deal from China. As they progress of course it is natural that they ask China to offer a better deal.

No, they are not. Nobody cares. Not one person. Stop buying into internet fed propaganda bullmanure. Africa is poor because of Africans. Get over it.

I never said to put all the blame on Europe but to say that Europe has had no blame what so ever is stupid!

Africa is one of the most resource-rich continents, the Europeans hardly took anything compared to what is left,
Really! How about 12-15 million displaced Africans to start.

Hmm, 2007, interesting date! Doesn't mention anything about the EU hating China though, so your mind is quite obviously deluded.

I'm done here though, it's pointless arguing with someone who refuses to listen. Adios!
