According to the new President, they will pretty much stick with the existing policy of "market-based" land reform. However, that has not being going well under current policies. There needs to be some new thinking about how to help non-white farmers become more productive in economic terms, no matter how the land is "transferred" to them through market-based programs or uncompensated land siezures/transfers.
The New President is a very sucessful businessman and is believed to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. He is not a marxist like Mugabe was. He does want South Africa to have a free market economy but the Blacks playing a bigger role in it.

South Africa won't be Wakanda that's for sure. The situation is untenable in the long term. Blacks are a majority yet earn and control a fraction of the wealth as whites and other groups. They will be prime targets for rabble rousers for years to come.

He got rich by being given stakes in already established major companies under black economic empowerment schemes. He was a union boss and the stakes were essentially bribes to keep the unions mollified. It's not like he created these businesses. I suppose he should be credited for not running them into the ground.

I decided to search this up the entire whole quote...... word by world from "in" - "government" literally, So I copy and past and google..... it took me to a white nationalists forum call "storefront"..... A thread from 2016 in which word by word it start off by the OP with the same quote as above in which word by word it was quoting a racist alt right article site.
