My husband and I are moving to Fort Rucker, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about where is the best place to live (dothan, or enterprise) and just a general breakdown of the area. Thank you!!

Here is one thread on Enterprise: http://www.city-data.com/forum/alaba...e-alabama.html and if you'll use the "search" feature on this website, you will find a lot of good threads on Enterprise and Dothan. I lived in the area, Ozark (a little folksy for some) and loved the area and would love to return - trying but no luck yet. You might also try the military forum below and locate some info from another military member. Fort Rucker is nice as is the surrounding area.

Highland Hills apartments look nice. They just completed construction of phase 2 of the apartments. From Highland Hills apt to Ft. Rucker is probably less than 20 miles. Not a bad drive.
