I'm thinking about takeing a job in Valley Head Al. and was woundering were to start looking for a house. It'll be my wife, son (12yrs) and Myself. I grew up in Nw B'ham and have been thinking of moveing home from Arizona. I need to know about the schools and things to do in the area. any information would be great. I would like to hear from someone in the area with a family like ours and the pros and cons.......Thanks.........Woodzman

That's Dekalb County and I-59 runs through it between Chattanooga and Birmingham. Ft. Payne is the closest city of any size, only a couple minutes South.
