hi i am new to this forum but i like to have seafood.I am big fan of Alaska seafood.Do you know why Alaska seafood is famous?

Because we have the cold crisp pacific waters to feed the fore mentioned sea creatures. And the media helps too.

It's the water temps....cold. Very little mercury in our fish (general rule is the colder the water the lower the mercury count). Studies done on people who have consumed wild Alaska salmon every day for most of their lives have absolutely no elevated mercury content in their systems. Oh yeah, and it tastes good. A principle similar to that of terroir applies to seafood as well.
