Kodiak is so georgous from the pics that I've seen. I think sometimes we forget that the bases do hire civilians for certain specialty services

Be sure and look up Alaska Native jobs. Preference is given to Natives but that certainly does not rule you out. Native jobs are all across the state. There is a fairly new Hospital/Clinic in Nome. They were looking for all kinds of positions, including SA. Good Luck!!!
