I used to work in the post office here and would sometimes receive mail with customs notice on it from the lower 48.

Well just ran in to another one! Tried to order a new $368 Grayco paint sprayer from amazon prime and they say government regulations require it be shipped ground therefore they will ship to contiguous 48 only, WTF?

I can get it at Home Depot, it is just $20 more. I just don't know whay a paint sprayer would be on a no fly list.

I can't even imagine. I was sitting here trying to take it apart in my head wondering what the heck would keep it off a plane... unless something's already under pressure. You can't fly anything that's pressurized.

Can't fly because of an electric motor?? I have never heard of such jackassery.
