PJ media? Never heard of that source....

PJ Media is an American conservative news, opinion and commentary collaborative blog that was founded in 2004. Its majority owner is technology entrepreneur, billionaire, and angel investor Aubrey Chernick.

Looks like Ray is branching out from Michael Savage.

This is what I said:

I wasn't typing about students "down south" who want to relocate to Alaska. I was typing about those who graduate high school in my specific community. For the most part, they don't stick around.
Yes but there are so few well paid high skilled engineering jobs in Alaska (most of which are in south central) that kids applying from where ever there university is state side are going to be competing with ALOT of other people for those VERY limited positions. Where as in the lower 48 there maybe places that have more bonified engineering jobs with fewer applicants. Obviously people come back, I am here .... for now and I got my BS in Colorado. But it took me a year applying to find that job and I am already past a month now looking for new work, its not impossible that it will take me another year and I have 12 years experience and a PE now. It seems the job postings are looking for ever more specialized people, with very specific knowlede that is not found in the class room.

For right now Alaska has a very high volume of highly educated highly skilled work force (the reason you dont likely see it is because there seems to be very little inbetween (either highly skilled highly educated or drug addict bum). How long it will remain that way when there are 100 people applying for every open engineering position, will remain to be seen.

The issue you maybe seeing is a lack of these inbetween people who are smart and reliable but willing to work subpar jobs. Most highly educated highly skilled people want a nice climate controled office (maybe a facility), flex time, vacation, etc, etc. Not some low brow neandrithal clock watching supervisor working outside in crap weather getting sick and working with felons.

Once smart people realize thats all thats left up here you will then see the skills gap exasperbated.

^ SMH. Maybe you should get an ESL student to help compose your posts.

You're making a great argument for the low quality of Alaska schools just by posting here.

The unintellegent make comments about spelling and gramer when they cant forumlate a rational retort to an argument. Ad homin attacks are another one you like which means you have already lost the argument.

Not really; you've been here under many names saying the same old thing in the same old subliterate way for so long that trying to have a rational argument with you really isn't worth the time.

No, its that you fundamentally disagree with me, only you cant seem to accept that other people have freedom of thought and are not slaves.
