Hmm..well thought out plan that....LOL
I guess it's easy to sit there in Indiana and make judgments on a place that you haven't even seen, but will it be quite easy for their guests to see what's behind the fence as we share the same road, unless they spend all their time in their cabins. But that isn't what they'll be coming to Alaska for.

I like the mural idea, but if your neighbors are using it for screening your property, then they have a great opportunity to show off some local art talent. With a bit of thought and reaching out to the community they could have an opportunity for everyone and a value added for their business. My mom was an artist and I can just picture her getting excited about a 30 foot fence. ; )

That is a really good idea. One of my crew is a Haida carver; I imagine he can figure out how to paint; when he gets out of jail maybe the fence will be finished.

Pictures one of these days; I'm having issues with my camera and I can't seem to make my flip video thing work on here. The fence is just barely started anyway; bunch of big posts is pretty much all so far; they've been out shrimping lately and don't have much time for working on it.

What? You mean to tell me the Captain hasn't hooked you up with a decent camera?

Well of course I did...I gave her a brand new Nikon.

It was in her truck when she set it on fire...
