I want to relocate to NY from the Jersey shore. After enduring Sandy doing significant damage where I live, I really want to avoid flooding. I really would like Warren or Saratoga county for a potential move. Its hard to find info on the major flood zones in NY. I dont mean mild flooding in the roads in low lying areas or considerable puddling. When I say flooding, I mean water getting into your home or in your car. I cant go through that again. Is Warren county Ok in this regards? Are there other counties recommended that never have flooding? Anyone know where I can find a map that lists flooding by county because I cant find one
