My family is moving to the area in a few months. I'll be working in Niskayuna. We were told both Clifton park and Niskayuna have nice schools and are near my work. We have two kids who are very active in ballet, swimming, skating, and piano. Could anybody here please recommend a few neighborhoods near Clifton Park/Niskayuna area that are quiet, safe, and have easy access to these activities (within 15-20min drive)? We appreciate your help.

Either location you'd be near those activities. I'd go for Nisky over Clifton Park though. I esp. like the Old Nisky area, very walkable, friendly, lots of kids. There's a place that teaches ballet called Ramsey's on Union St. in Sch'dy, minutes from Old Nisky. Skating I think is still taught at Union College and the rink in Glenville near the county airport. Nisky High has a pool. Good luck.
