I wouldn't suggest drinking at the restaurant on the crest(10,000 + feet) on the first few days, but down in the city you should be just fine. Most people don't even notice the elevation unless they do alot of running or are in very poor shape.
Be sure to drink plenty of water in addition to the alcohol of your choice. Altitude + alcohol can really dehydrate you and guarding against dehydration at high altitude is very important. Although as zoidberg said ABQ's altitude isn't high enough for most folks to be bothered that much by drinking alcohol, assuming you don't really overdo it.
