Any trailer parks in decent areas? (Albuquerque, Silver City: section 8, to rent, mobile home)

Vet on meager disability pension wondering if there are any decent trailer parks in decent neighborhoods?

Looking to rent, while applying to the Section 8 housing program in Silver City.

You're renting in ABQ first?

The Vineyards, Meadow Brook and Albuquerque Meadows are three that I have been to that seem clean and well taken care of. Because I was there for estate sales, I actually went into many of the homes. They seemed decent enough and they look quiet. I know the Vineyard is 55+ not sure of the others.

There are a couple off of N 4th Street that seem very sad and run down.

I have a list of mobile home parks in ABQ, with phone numbers - be checking those out. If anyone is familiar with any of the other parks (about 60 of 'em according to my list), grateful for your replies.

Curious if that opening statement was meant to say "Better to rent in Silver City first...? Actually, I'd probably look in Silver City first, then go to ABQ if I didn't find anything in S.C.

Truth is, I'd like to eventually make my way to ABQ's Section 8 program (haven't applied there yet), so I could be close to their VA Medical Center - not crazy about the ride or drive to ABQ from Silver City, for certain services.

Not entirely sure I'll rent in ABQ first (or S.C.) - may stay put (Cincinnati area/Fairfield suburb) until Section 8 application is approved or denied.

Application results is about thirty days I believe, then the availability (my turn on the list after approval) waiting period is currently 6 to 8 months.

I really do not know much about Section 8 or Mobile Home Parks but !!!

I did talk with a guy recently who bought and sold trailers who told me that Four Hills Mobile Home Park is considered to be a really good place to live. They even have their own website Four Hills In Albuquerque

They have a nice website, a few pics, a short video, and you can "take a drive through the park", or above it , with Google Earth.
