Hi everyone,
I am currently a teacher in Utah and am looking to possibly move to the Albuquerque area and teach high school. I currently teach biotechnology and engineering at an early college high school. I am wondering if any schools in the area offer these types of subjects and also which schools or school systems I should focus my search on if I want to teach advanced students. Thanks for any input!

There is a new high school that opened in the fall of 2013. It's a joint venture between Albuquerque Public Schools and CNM (Central New Mexico Community College). It's called "College and Career High School."

There are two major public school systems (which have high schools) in the area:
Welcome to Albuquerque Public Schools; Albuquerque Public Schools
Rio Rancho Public Schools - Index

Ideas, not really. Have heard too many comments. I have made some comments over the years. I have had kids and grand kids go through Kindergarten to College with no problems. But you might look at this post: http://www.city-data.com/forum/albuq...l-threads.html
