Hi all,

I just moved to Albuquerque and I'm having a hard time finding recommendations for a quality auto repair shop near the University. I would prefer to stay away from national chains if at all possible. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
Christine

Unfortunately the best repair shop is not near the University. It is up on Comanche & Moon and is called The Mechanic.

Thanks for your recommendation! It's a bit out of our way but at this point anything helps.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I ended up going to Jim's 66 Muffler and Auto Services on Central and was extremely pleased with the quick and professional service I received.
