When I was in high school in 1977, I remember, (but
didn't participate) that it took a few joints to get high.
When I was in Holland in 2006, lots of cow-orkers, took
advantage of the relaxed rules to smoke pot there.
It only took them a couple of tokes and they could put
out the bowl/joint and enjoy their buzz.
Since I can't stand the smoke, I tried a brownie.
I didn't like it in the 70's and still don't find it as
good as beer/wine/scotch/tequila/et.al.
Exactly. Those of you that are saying its not any stronger are completely wrong, its proven in many studies, its pretty obvious as well. In all aspects of life everything gets better/stronger over time.
Jayely, I wouldn't worry about the drugs. I'm 21 and just moved here a few months ago, living with my boyfriend. I work in a restaurant here in town and yea plenty of my coworkers (who are all 18-23 and go to UNM) do smoke weed, but it really doesn't make them any less of a person, and they don't push it on you. So chances are you'll meet plenty of people that smoke, but it's not any worse here then elsewhere as many have said. Trust me I moved here from Granola Land....Colorado...I've lived in the small college towns where pot is around every corner...Shoot April, 20th is a holdiday up there. My own roomate smoked in our room. But I like you have chosen not too, but it again it doesn't make them any less, and if you truly are concerned about it just watch who you hang out with. Best rest assured you'll be just fine.
