They're struggling again. One of b-ball's basics is sinking foul shots, and with 4 minutes left in the half they are 0-5 at the line. You have to can those foul shots! What hurts also is Ramon Martinez with 3 fouls. 44-32 at the half, am wondering if the Lobos keep him on the bench for a little bit when the second half starts. What is hurting also is the Huskies 3 pointers, it seems that the points from close in is even.
update-well I wanna give a thumbs up to New Mexico for getting this far.
82-64 final score
Washington canned those 3's and clamped down on the Lobos in the second half. Give credit to the Huskies.
HUH? Don't you think we feel just as bad as YOU DO tonight????
Jeez, thanks a lot.
I really like the Lobos, and have supported them all season. Your comment is too nasty to respond to.
I think what that poster was saying is that KU fans brag and put down other schools all the time, I have seen it on forums and other sites, but KU fans do it more often than any other teams fans that I have seen.
Looks like its' wait til next year for the Lobos. With 4 starters returning, some promising recruits arriving, and a renovated Pit, the 2010-11 season should be terrific.

think you are right, it is kinda like Texas fans and OU fans. I never disliked anything about OU until my granddaughter and her husband graduated from there and of course have lots of OU fans, plus they live in OKC> KU fans are much nicer: OU fans are obnoxious!!!!
I'm going to miss Ro. He was our biggest 3-point shooter which is how the Lobos play (outside shots). They just couldn't sink them in the 2nd round. There were rumors that Alford was thinking about taking an offer in Oregon, but he squelched that rumor and said he wasn't going anywhere.
