Been seeing a lot of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey around lately and wanted to find out from some folks who have tried it before I buy it if its good or not.

I've never tried the the honey whiskey as Ive always been a Martel Cordon blu and 18 year old Chivas guy, but Im curious about these whiskeys.

Anyone have any info on them?

We had the Jack Daniels on a flight for the first time and really liked it. It has been a staple in the house ever since.

Jack Daniels, although I don't drink it that often. I've never tried a "honey" version, didn't even know that they had one. Honey and Jack? Hmmm. Not sure what that would taste like...

Im really curious. CVS had it on sale, then yesterday while in BevMo, I saw it as well and considered picking it up.

I dont normally drink Jack Daniels as I like the more mid-range stuff like the Chivas ($58.00 bottle) or Martell (119 per bottle) but that Honey whiskey keeps calling to me. Maybe Ive been watching too much Moonshiners because I've had a hankerin' for some whiskey lately.

Do they have a smallish bottle of it? If so, I might be tempted to pick one up myself. I'll bet it would be good in tea .

BTW: It's hilarious to me that they carry Jack at your local pharmacy. In my neck of the woods we have to go to the ABC store to get it.

lol. Yeah. They have a full aisle of nothing but alcohol. Wines, beers, liquor, etc.

Think I'll pick some up just to see what it tastes like. Its normally like $21.00 but they had it on sale for $14.00 which is only a bit more than a six pack of Bass.

So picked up a small bottle of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey along with a bottle of 18 year old Chivas Regal and did a bit of a side by side taste test. Of course the Chivas is spectacular, but the Tennessee honey it VERY VERY VERY GOOD. I REALLY like it.

Meh, It didnt impress me when I tried it the other night at the inlaws Christmas party.

Regulary Jack or Crown for me when it comes to the mid range blended whiskys.

I enjoy Jack from time to time, but have never tried the honey variety. I dislike Wild Turkey.

I like Irish Mist, a honey whiskey. Never had the other two yet.
