Those sound great! I usually serve up different varieties of beer and wine coolers.

I would definitely have some brew on hand. Why not fill a cooler or a kiddie pool with various beers, ales, lagers, and coolers?

Beer, beer and more beer.

Maybe a gin and tonic, if it's really hot.

I'll take a mixed drink if someone else is bartender! But I usually don't do mixed drinks. Beer, you're it. Otherwise, white wine sangria. Then I'd have vodka, ice, ginger ale, an assortment of citrus and juices, and liqueurs or mixers on hand (Chambord, Poire William) for very simple DIY cocktail mixing. Margaritas too.

A quick and easy cocktail that I've been drinking this summer are Palomas. I've read that this drink is more popular in Mexico than Margaritas. Just mix grapefruit soda, tequila, squeeze in a lime and you are done. Salting the rim of the glass is optional.
