It is fabulous with hot cocoa. I make the real deal with unsweetened cocoa (recipe on Hersheys container), whole milk, and sugar, then add a shot of Baileys in the cup, fill with cocoa, and top with a marshmallow or whipped cream (real of course). Bailey's is very sweet, so you want the semisweetness of the real unsweetened cocoa to balance it out.
Thankfully Bailey's tastes nothing like what I imagine eggnog to taste like (I've never tried the 'nog) because I love it! It's all rich and creamy but it tastes pretty strong so you can't accidentelly drink half a bottle and then find that your legs are no longer attached to your body.
Also, as for Amaretto, there is only one way to drink that and that's mixed with a tall mug of black coffee. Mmmmmm.

Not to hijack the forum, but... boycew, you've never had egg nog!?!?! I'm glad it's only a holiday drink, I could drink waaaay too much of it if it were available year-round. I suggest you give it a shot at some point, I've never met someone who doesn't like egg nog.

I always drink Bailey's in my coffee, but this sounds great! I am going to have to try it. I love chocolate!
I did try a sampler bottle of St. Brendans's brand of Irish Creme, and it was okay. But, I believe I'll stick to the original. I also came across one brand some time ago, (can't remember the name), that was considerably cheaper, and I almost bought it, just to give it a try, until I read the ingredient list. Instead of whiskey, it was made with wine! Needless to say, I put it back. I don't know, maybe it would have been fine, but it just did not sound right, at all! Guess I'm just too much to a stickler for the original stuff!
My daughter makes Bailey's fudge for the holidays every year..we really look forward to it. It is a great treat with a cup of coffee. Everyone tells her she should make it to sell.
