OK everybody, someone on the What's for Dinner thread prompted me to start this one.
I could have called this the "Lisa Marie Presley, what's so discerning about liking Opus One?" You would have had to watch that Oprah show.
Anyway, me first. Crane Lake, any kind, $3.99.
PS: If you only like white zinfandel, don't even bother.
I'll have to throw in the Black Opal we talked about earlier.
But that would be more under $7. Under or at $10 I like the Ravens Wood Red Zinfandel if I want a really robust red for cooking or drinking, Ruffino Chianti, or this one Pinot Grigio I can't remember the label of, sorry.
When I spend more, I usually go for a Simi Sauvignon Blanc if I can find it on sale for $14.
I actually only like dessert wines. I love trying different types of Moscatos and ice wines. I'd kill to be able to get Neue Wein over here in the states.
In HS we started off w/Boones Country Farm, passed the bottle then on to beer. Since then, I haven't had much wine.
Oh my gosh when I was young I loved tickled pink until I drank a whole bottle to quick and got sick than never again with the Boones Farm! Oh the good ole days........
I would love to find a red that was sweet and light.
For whites I like Rieslings now Ste Chapelle and especially their special harvest Riesling yum...
I use to like dry wines and I guess with old age I enjoy the sweeter stuff.
