Have you considered the fact that MRSA is common on many people's skin and nose......most of the time it does not cause problems. Is it possible that you have a weak and/or compromised immune system????
Both that you mentioned are good starts..I sent you a note.
Thanks for the direct message. Actually, I will look into the Grape Seed Extract. Actually, I don't think I will be able to take the garlic supplements. I'm on a garlic/onion free diet due to gas/bloating. I've been on this diet for about 1 year now.

I would sure work on that one. I remember an old friend and she's now gone, but she forever talked about the boils she got. That was long before I got into holistic healing and she would not have "heard" me anyway. Many minds are closed. Hope you get to the root....
And I believe we can overdo the abx drugs.

What are abx drugs? Prescription drugs?
After taking a blood test 1 month ago, my primary doctor said my white blood cells are very low. He said he didn't know the reason why. He said it could be due to the antibiotics. So he had me take another blood test 2 weeks later and he found that my white blood cells are now borderline. So he said in a months time I should take another test to see where I'm at.
Not sure why my immune system was/is like that? As stated previously, I also had bronchitis and pinkeye last year. If my immune system was higher maybe I would've have gotten MRSA? Maybe my immune system was low dude to my garlic/onion free diet?
Never had MRSA, but for something bad on the skin I would try the essential oil, Oregano. It is very strong and burns surrounding skin, so when I used it I was very careful and applied with a q-tip. But research it first, it's just an alternative idea.
You originally asked where you might be picking it up.
I don't want to look but I seem to remember that you're somewhat of a gym rat.
I'd look there for the source of the infection. Especially if other gym members are slack with their equipment hygiene.
Yes, I'm a gym rat. And my dermatologist said I probably got it from there. But how do I know for sure if I got it from my gym? Should I just assume I'm getting it from my gym and just change gyms?

Due to the infectiousness of it I'm surprised your doctor didn't have to report it to the local health department so a contact survey could be done.
We had a bout of it down here several years ago at one of the high schools. Turned out it was the wrestling mats.
We can never know for sure where we "get" stuff but gyms can be a suspect. I went to a gym for many many years and never got an infection, work on being cognizant of not putting your hands on your face or in mouth for starters. Carry some wipes and clean off some of the equipment could work too. You could put some wipes in a baggy for the gym use.

I think you may be on the right track with the WBC-count. Watch and investigate.......if they remain low or at the very bottom of the normal-range, and your doctor cannot give you a factual reason as to why, I would see a specialist.

In the end, does it really matter where you got it? You HAVE it and the treatments you are following are not getting rid of it completely, either due to your sporadic use of the prescriptions or something else. What you do know is that you need to take your own precautions at any gym to help avoid reinfection.

I beg to differ, I believe one needs to TRY and find out where it's coming from. I ended up with a knee infection in late 2016 and I've narrowed it down to 2 ways I could have gotten it.
