So one travels with a dog in crate to SOUTH AMERICA, but how about INTER-COUBNTRY? Can one simply walk across say..PERU to ECUADOR, and vice versa?

Anyone know some decent cities in Ecuador where a guy can walk with dog, long walks, no hassles?

In Peru?

Parks where dog can run free...safe?

Take a chicken bus. I can't imagine it would be a problem. Loja, in the south of Ecuador, is a nice, quiet town, though it's grown since I was last there. Check it out, though. I don't know about a dog running free, though.
