(Aug. 4) -- Now, kids, it's time for a little lesson in common sense: If you use a Taser on a bear, you need a rather efficient exit strategy, because the second it wears off or you let go, it might get up and maul and possibly eat you.
That's what Anchorage, Alaska, police are telling the public today, after the July 22 actions of Lt. Dave Parker, who saw a black bear near his fish fryer and proceeded to shoot it with a stun gun.
