Sad to see you leave.

Guess we won't get to discuss all that data you asked for and were provided with.

I visit once a year now for my family, but once they move, I don't think I'll ever visit again... the cities are run down and big box stores are the heart of the cities. The natural beauty is over-rated, weather is gloomy, trees are tiny, mountains are barren... everything is over-priced... just ugh, after seeing many parts of the world, I couldn't go back to living there anymore.

I'll wait.
That's what I thought.

The other issue I have with Alaska is it's so restricted... where you can fish, what kind of tackle you can use, the dates are so narrow for some species, there are a lot of restrictions that make the last frontier seem very restricted.

I see your points.

I do love the gun laws in Alaska though. After living in California for decades, serving in the Army, trudging through the desert, being shot at by extremist, and then being told by some **** ant California Democrat, who never served or put their life on the line for their country, that I can't own a handgun with a magazine with more than 10 rounds "for my own safety", I think Alaska is still a-okay.

Yeah I do like the gun laws in alaska too, i moved from california to florida recently and it's nice knowing if some people break into my house i dont have to be afraid to use lethal force if my life is threatened. In California you have to have been stabbed 3x and shot before you are allowed to defend yourself (slight exaggeration but you get my point lol).

Anchorage happens to sit on one of the most active seismic zones on the globe. Downtown Anchorage looked a WWII battle zone after the 1964 earthquake. There is a reason that the downtown area isn't the main focal point of the city. Also Anchorage proper is spread over than a 1000 square miles.

Tell that to San Francisco, it isn't stopping businesses from building billion dollar projects... nor are hurricanes stopping development in Miami.
