everyone could have greenspace with little extra land by putting their garden on their house. i think it's the future--or apparently the present in Singapore
I'd like to know how they cut the grass on that home? ...drag the dirty lawnmower through the house? ...also the slope on that top floor looks dangerous to mow.
And trees on a roof sound like a disaster in the making. Tree roots can get into a sewer system 10 feet underground, so I'm sure a few inches wouldn't deter them.

Just because historically a role of the roof is to divert water away from the building doesn't mean that this fad is meritless.
there are trees that have a smaller root system. i'm sure these people have studdied all the particulars or are at least in the process of doing so. i bet the grass doesnt need as much mowing as traditional grass. maybe it's a dwarf grass of some sort.

The mower gets dropped by aerial support when needed and the person wears a harness when doing the curved portion of the roof.
