Marriage is now constitutionally defined as between one man and one woman.

Not trying to appear "uncaring" but, WHO CARES? Isn't "What's In The Heart" much more important?

Sadly, nowadays, far too many marriages don't last long enough to make this a biggee!

Sadly, many gay "marriages" seem to last longer than heterosexual ones. I really don't feel strongly about this prop. I mean, these people ARE couples... might as well enjoy the advantages other couples have. Nothing is being fundamentally changed (you can't change how somebody feels); it's only inconvenient and disadvantageous to them.

I hope you're happy. I'm sure you are able to sleep better at night to know that gay people can't be married, even if they could.

I find it completely appalling that people care so much about passing this prop to donate millions upon millions to get it passed. So much for loving others. The highly religious people are the ones to be a afraid of, not if gay people can marry one day. Absolutely ridiculous bunch of hatred! Wasn't Jesus loving?

I believe this will be overturned one day. We will be a more accepting world one day.

I support gays - let them get married, I wish them all the happiness in the world.

But, really, 'marriage' is just a word and a rose by any other name....

I don't even know why this was put on the ballot in the first place.

Many people just vote "yes" or "no" by the signs they see. I saw hundreds of signs for "Yes" and none for "No"...people are lemmings. There should be no government interferral in things like marriage (or abortion). It's not the government's business, nor really the church's. It's a personal decision.

Please note: I merely reported the issue - I did not express my opinion - nor will

It doesn't matter anyways, IMO...one day the supreme court will overturn all of these bigoted state amendments and props.

It's so sad that the religious fringe right has to tear down others to make themselves look better when in actuality they are not. This year's election was just the beginning of a rejection of their politics.
