I am just wondering if anyone is still heading down to Mexico, regardless of the recent crime wave?

I am heading down there for Spring Break. My fiancee's family has a house down there.

Her family just went this past weekend, they said tourism is way down, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary, I guess you should just be extra cautious.

So, who's going, and to where?

Have you gone recently, since the new year?

I have talked to many people who have gone in the last few months, I think the media is just trying to scare everyone.

Why would you want to take the chance? Go to To SoCal or Florida and you wil have a better time.
My friend that lives in a border town, not to be named, says the killings are getting out of hand. THere is a smal war going on the border and kidnapings are a regular thing now. They hang the bodies off the local bridge. Not a good way to go. It might be time to have the national Guard on the border and not in Iraq?

There has been no difficulties whatsoever in, or around, Rocky Point

I am not going to a border town, I am going to Rocky Point.

SoCal beaches are dirty, and cold, and you can't sit around and light off fireworks and drive quads around on the beach in SoCal. Florida would be a 6 hour flight, and lots of money.

What border town are you speaking of?
