Dear Arizona neighbors:

Your front yard is not a parking lot.

The sidewalk is not an extension of your driveway/garage.

Just because everyone you know drives a pickup truck does not mean you have to also.

A loud muffler does not confer masculinity.

Do not list your GED on your job application under special achievements.

Ketchup is not a vegetable.

Ranch is not the only salad dressing.

The big bottle of Pepsi on the supper table is not better than water.

There are more ways to cook besides frying and grilling.

Your dog may be your best friend, but your wife may disagree.

Flying the stars and stripes does not make you more American.

The real purpose of TV sports is to burn-off excess testoterone and market motor vehicles and alcoholic beverages to people like you.

Kids need to play and have fun, but not scream non-stop for hours at a time.

Kid’s growing bodies need proper nutrition and exercise, not excessive sweets and battery/motorized bikes/cycles.

Sunscreen for your kids is smart so they don’t wind-up later in life with sun-damaged skin like many Arizonians.

Transporting children in the open back of a pickup truck on public roads demonstrates stupidity.

If you want to tell us more about Frank Zappa, you can just omit the "You might be a red-neck if" list. You could save everyone the time. Including yourself.

Sometimes, HOAs do serve a purpose.

Being from Orange County, CA originally, I could not believe the volume of poor parenting skills displayed each day in Arizona. Parents bringing 2 year old kids to R-rated movies; screaming obscenities at their kids and smacking them silly for uttering what they thought could be an obscenity back; and the smoking with their kids in the car has to be my biggest pet peeve.

Um...there are many people living in AZ from Orange County originally. Perhaps you were witnessing your former neighbors' activities.

Orange County, CA? What does it have over any other place? Heck, they're so embarrassed by themselves that they try to name their baseball team after Los Angeles.

Orange County in the 70's and 80's was nothing short of Stepford. We didn't have crime; no family I knew yelled at their kids with rants full of curse words.

Are you mocking the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim? My grandad, a devout Angel's supporter, would turn over in his grave. So lame, isn't it?

One more thing terrible about AZ is the drivers. Worst in the world I think. Although the O.C. is getting worse with the Asian influx.

Sir, your posts seem racially and regionally discriminatory.

FYI, I live in CA now so I know that what you say is not indicative of CA or AZ, but rather small-minded people in general who exist everywhere--including on this forum.

Broad generalizations and stereotypes do the majority a disservice. Ironic, eh?

That depends on where you get your water.

Bongofury: one more low-functioning, bumper-sticker-quoting, hit-and-run newbie...

And its ARIZONANS, Bongo... you simple-minded troll!
