I am Catholic & my father is from Argentina. I live in Arkansas. Should I feel safe? I understand there are a lot of Baptists.

WHAT SHOULD I DO????

You should stop panicking. How long have you lived there? Has anything happened that causes you concern?

Be aware! Baptists chase Catholics around with knives and guns!!!

Com'on on now. You're probably light skinned and all. If that's the case, no one really care about you're Catholic.

While there may now be a healthy number of Catholics in NW and Central Arkansas, note that they are an extreme minority in the rest of the state. You won't be chased around with pitchforks, but you may be told that you're going to burn in hell because you're not saved.

I don't think Idaho is quite as "in your bedroom" conservative as Arkansas. While Arkansas has come a long way on racial issues, sexual and religious tolerance have barely been addressed. I understand though this is a satire of the gay thread because in the larger towns at least there are plenty of Hispanics and catholics. Gay people on the otherhand have legitimate concerns about life for them in Arkansas.

As long as you aren't illegal, you have nothing to worry about if you're Hispanic living in Arkansas.
You'll just get a lot of people calling you a "dirt mexican" because of course all Hispanic people are from Mexico.

Many threads become redundant, just on different subjects.

I look for a thread to start up again, ----"Why is everybody moving to NWA"

Seems nobody complains when that topic is brought up ( and answered) over and over and over and over and over again.
