Is it just me cause in my old age I am getting a bit cranky or is anyone else a bit upset about the removal of the 2 issues we were going to be able to vote on, mainly the Tort reform. I am mostly upset because of the reason given: they removed it from the ballot because it was too hard to understand or so that is what the reason given was. NO wonder we have such a reputation of being a bunch of uneducated dumb As??es.

They removed the tort issue because it was too vaguely written. Vaguely written laws end up being hugely problematic legally and legislatively.

OK, so that is how it appears. And yes, sometimes those laws do end up being challenged, but so do other laws. I am still waiting for the first pot dispensary to open: no, not for me; I would never use it I don't think, but we did approve med use 2 years ago. I know, that is a different topic altogether. I still think removing the tort reform bill sucks. The other one removed was for legit reasons: the signatures, apparently may not all have been legal.
