Hi,
My husband and I are looking into having a small A frame home built in the Fort Smith area. We do not currently own land but plan to purchase as soon as we find some we like. What we are looking at building is a 24x32 ft A frame that is very simple. I only want walls to inclose the bathroom, no kitchen cabnets other than one pantry, a half balcony for a bedroom. When I say simple, that is exactly what I mean. It only needs the very basics as we can always add more later. Other than the basic 4 walls and obvious stuff like a toilet ... The only other things that will need to be in it are the pantry in the kitchen, counters for the kitchen (but the kitchen will be kind of small mind you) washer dryer hookups, and electric heat and CH/A.
About how much would I be looking at from start to finish to have something like this built. I am under the impression that A-frames tend to be very cheap to build and I decided that if we cut out things like kitchen cabnets and closets and such we can save a lot of money for building. After all those things can always be added at a later date if we want them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on your builder, but I know builders that are working around the state and are averaging $80-100 a square foot.

Take your blue print around and get bids for a start.
