How many of you are from De Queen Arkansas. My dad, Charles F. Johnson is buried in the Redmen Cementary and I am not sure how to find it. The problem is my father's wife does not accept me as his daughter because i was a child out of wedlock. I am not sure what to do about this. I would appreciate any kind of advice.

Google for Arkansas Cemetaries. You can get directions or at least a phone number of someone that can give directions.

Hi, My maiden last name was Johnson, my dad's name was Roy Lee Johnson but I am not familar with your father's name so it must be another line of Johnsons. I have lived here all my life. Redman cemetary is about 1 1/2 mile due west from the courthous on old 70B, it is still where most people who live in DeQueen are buried when they die and I know our library has extensive research on it. rubyrearview

On the Web Site "Find A Grave" I found Redmen Cemetery and listed in it is;

Charles Franklin Johnson, Sr.
Born: 17 August 1931
Died: 12 January 2004

It lists his wife as Mildred Green, and several kids that I did not copy.

If you go look for the cemetery anyone in DeQueen can tell you where it is located. Unless some one has a location roster, finding his grave will take some time because there are almost 700 listed graves there.

I hope this helps.
