I saw large numbers of wild elephants, cows, and camels walking around in the streets of a large city.

Whole families of monkeys sitting on guard rails on the side of the road in Sikkim, begging food from passing motorists.

My train in Assam was delayed when it hit an elephant on the tracks.

There are birds everywhere. Every tree in towns and villages has songbirds singing in it. Birds sit on fence posts beside the road, unconcerned that people are walking by a few meters away. Birds have apparently learned to trust people in India.

Indian women are the most beautiful in the world. The only ones who are not are the actresses and models, who look too European.

I have heard of attractive Indian woman in the UK, the US, Australia or Canada or wherever....but always heard that you'll seldom find them in India itself.

The actresses/models are in a different league altogether. I heard that a lot of the dancing models/actresses are hired foreigners who are traveling through or living in India, doing that regularly. I could see Brazilians, for example, blending into the set of some of those scenes.

In India I have found the women on average, to be uglier than most other places, most are overweight too. Honestly, I have never heard of people saying Indian women in general are very good looking. You'll definitely find good looking ones... but they are not the norm in india.
