What defines westernization in Asian countries?

1. Democracy?
2. Capitalism?
3. English speaking ability?
4. Social Liberalism?
5. Education?

Would you even say that social liberalism is an important factor in determining how western an Asian Country is? Asia tends to be more conservative than Europe, but states like Alabama, Oklahoma, and Idaho are even more conservative than any developed country in Asia. So does that make Oklahoma less westernized and more oriental in culture than liberal Oregon?

The Philippines is FAR more Westernized than any other country in Asia.

It seems like westerners are literally oblivious to the amount of Malay and Hindu influence in Singapore.

I agree, the Philippines is Westernized culturally being English speaking Christians with a minority population of at least 13% being partially descended from Europeans or Latinos. However, the criteria here is a stereotypical East Asian country, meaning perhaps Sinitic influenced? Since Singapore is a Sinitic majority country but is also Westernized and English speaking, I guess in that sense, Singapore is the most Westernized among the options there.

I think I should have been more clear: What East Asian country besides the Philippines and East Timor (both obviously very westernized) is the most Westernized?

Westernization:

1; obesity
2: lmao white men, 50s, lmao feminism, lmao...
3. The ONLY thing you should talk about is racism.

4. guns
5. pickup trucks.

So: Bhutan is the answer. There no doubt about that.

Philippine culture, OTOH, has been described as shaped by "three centuries in a convent, followed by one century in Hollywood".

Judging by these criteria, Spain isn't really westernized.
