well 100% european is European no matter where your born and there go your terms you guys use and i know that 100% european does not exist there. i know that nearly all, over 95% people from that country are only asian genes. the othere are mixed but thats less than 5%. also southern europeans and many were actually arabs that spain expelled to their conquered to manipulate the slaves to being friendly so the arabs did it with them because Spain was to racist. Also that's why there is slang because of the arabs of southern spain who actually went to the territories of spain but of course there were white spainards but they were there for the triple g's gold, god, glory not for what the arabs wanted that was what they did intermingle.
Attractiveness is mostly about the face (and body to add to the attractiveness). A brown hot Pinay will appeal to most any warm blooded male. However, ovcourse he might prefer the more light skinned hot Pinay.
Think of Beyonce. Most men would think she is attractive even though she is brown / darl / half or all black.
Speaking of Beyonce like mixed race Haile Berry being held as a standard of beauty for African Americans maybe because of their lack of classical West African facial features the flat nose of Filipinos and that classic "Malay look" are also undesired. A pointed nose is wanted just as much as lighter skin by parents. Although the Filipinos do a lot of skin whitening like many Asian ethnic groups do there is not the widespread plastic surgery to straighten a nose like other ethnicity's attack unwanted eye lids.

The way that I hear mestizo used suggests that Chinitos and Japanese/Filipino and Korean/Filipino would be a mestizo sub set. Not just those with European ancestors.

Some people take it to mean that too- anyone who is mixed with something non-Filipino.
Mestizo to me is pretty much any lighter western looking filipino. Or simply put, anything other than the Malay look. So I guess you could group the Filipinos mixed with Korean and Japanese etc in that as well.
Look at the history of modern media and beauty pageants in Asia and all of it is a import from western colonial countries. All modern beauty pageants are based on historic Eugenics and racism to the point where they will always find the lightest looking people and hold them up as more beautiful especially in Asia and the Pacific. This also even happens in Africa to a lesser degree. Look at India as the best example where most of the models and movie stars look Indo-Persian or Indo-European with European models and Persians being popular choices for roles as extras. So if it can happen in a place like India of course it can happen anywhere the people have been colonized and indoctrinated into the global European run beauty industry.
And the funny part is that the idea of cosmetics and beauty originated in Africa and other populations of very dark people long before Europeans even got there. Yet they have stolen the ideas and the resources and now use their control over the economy to push it down peoples throats.
Here is a good example of the kinds of folks who you wont see in a Philippine or "Malay" beauty pageant any time soon.
