I have visited many countries in Asia, but would prefer Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong.

I am absolutely in love with Japan, but if I had to move somewhere to live, I'd be in Singapore in a freaking heartbeat. absolutely love Singapore.

some Asian countries are very nice to visit, and very cool from cultural experience perspective, but I would never ever prefer to live there .

Japan, definitely.

Though it is ridiculously expensive to live there, its all worth it considering the cultural immersion opportunities, low crime rate, unparalleled world-class service standards and the beautiful scenery.

The general perception is that the Japanese are xenophobic as manifested in their strict immigration policy and perception of foreigners as gaijin. But from my experience, making the effort to learn their language and understand their culture and ethics would go a long way towards breaking the barriers.


China would be among the last Asian countries i would live in.
