I'm not talking about all religions just the ones that seem to create the 911 bombers and terrorist, The Warren Jeff’s, the Branch Davidians, The White supremist, the Black Nationalist, the Jim Jones. The ones that take over control of countries: As in Iran and Saudi Arabia.
I'm not a Religious hater, I just don't see how all of these supposed Religions’ of peace can be misinterpreted if they are so wonderfully peaceful.
I'm sure overall most religions can point out how they do more good than bad.

That's a good question. Modern Buddhism popped into my head, but I suppose even that could be misconstrued. That said, as far as I know, there is nothing in Buddhist teaching that calls for violence except in the form of self-defense, and then it's only as much as needed to stop the violence perpetrated against them, never to kill.
But I only have a rough grasp of Buddhism and could be wrong. Maybe someone else here has more knowledge of it.
Also, not for nothing, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find violence in Unitarian-Universalism. That I can speak about, because although I am no longer active in it, I converted to UU from Roman Catholicism 10 years ago. Oh, UUs will question you to death, but they won't lay a hand on you.
Other than to insult I'm not sure this has much point as said.
Still yes religion is great at preserving ancient languages and the wisdom of earlier generations. Anthropologists and linguists are in many ways indebted to this feature of religion. Would Gregorian Chant or the Coptic language still be around without religion? It also gives a sense of continuity to life and a connection to the past. To view the present with no understanding of humans before your birth is to be perpetually naive or groundless in a way.

Much has not been accomplished because of this, for it creates a fear that men should not question or pursue a line that would lead to progress out of the irrational fear it would displease their invisible friend.
