Great! So it's tucked in behind Chatsworth, Westchester and that newer subdivision off Wesley Chapel. I wonder if there will be any possibility of putting in pedestrian access to the park from the subdivisions. Probably there's no space between lots to allow this. One thing that drives me nuts about the pattern of development around here is how the cul-de-sacs are all sealed off. In other places I've lived, you find foot/cycle paths that allow pedestrians and cyclists to get from one subdivision to the next, or into a school or park.

I agree this drives me crazy as well. My kids could walk to school had they thought to put in a footpath through the subdivisions. It would be very safe off the main roads. The concept of having to drive to a park and then park your car was new for me as well. It would be nice to just wander over.
Anyway the new park is exciting! The more parks the better!

I've seen that in other places, too. An easy tweak to the zoning ordinance.
