Can anybody please advise if there are any good Christian/Catholic full day preschool for 3 years old in the East Cobb/Marietta area?
I'd like for my son to go to a church based preschool program in the 09-10 school year, but most of them that i've found are mostly half day.
I work full time so i don't know how to arrange the transportation if my son goes to the non-full day program.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not aware of any full-day, church-based preschools anywhere on the North Atlanta area. For a full day program, you're probably going to have to look at Creme de la Creme, Kindercare, Primrose, etc...

Faith Lutheran has a full day preschool. It is in East Cobb I believe on lower Roswell road. I do not know much about it except I looked at it for a transitional kindergarten for my child. I did really like it but because it was full day I chose another school. It seemed like a warm loving place with a good balance between fun and academics. My daughter has low stamina! We needed a half day program. I do remember it being fairly reasonably priced for a private school.

Default Faith Lutheran School/Lighthouse Academy@East Cobb United Methodist Church/Shreiner Academy/Wood Acres

Thank you KADAY for the Faith Lutheran info. I called the school and they have open house this weekend.
I just noticed there's another a full day preschool (Lighthouse Academy) in East Cobb United Methodist Church in Roswell St. Marietta, but i do not see any online reviews about the school. Anybody ever heard of this school?
The other full day preschool (non faith based) that i was considering are:
Shreiner Academy (too pricey )
The Wood Acres School

Anybody has good experience with any of the school mentioned above?
Thank you all.

My friend's children attended Wood acres for preschool and really liked it. I did look at it for their 5 year old program and was impressed. I think they have a waiting list though. I worked with a woman in admissions whose first name was Faith. We did not get in due to the waiting list.

I forgot about High Meadows (East Cobb with Roswell address)..............I loved this school and they have a full day program. It's a little more expensive but the program was very impressive, very nature focused. They even have some student gardens there, an outdorr theater and farm animals. Again we didn't get on the list fast enough. I don't know about Lighthouse though I've passed it many times.

My child has attended the Lighthouse Academy for a little over a year now and we LOVE it! It is reasonably priced, faith based, and has low student to teacher ratios. I get a daily written report and the teacher seem to honestly enjoy the kids! I would highly recommended checking it out...many of the staff members have a lot of experience, they take the kids outside often and do educational projects daily!

Dear Senora,

I found you on this thread stating that you have been with the Wood Acres school for a couple of years. My son was just accepted to Wood Acres, and I am looking for a parent to communicate with to ask a few questions about the school (more aptly the preschooling). If you don't mind dropping me your e-mail (or I can give you mine) I would love to talk.
