Note the title says 'drops' and not 'rises'...

Excellent post! And with the new Immigration law Atlanta will solidfy it's world-class reputation along with being a top tier 33rd place winner. Where is Macon in all this? The Atlanta-Macon (Mylanta) corridor is set to gain as forced labor and unskilled poverty stricken Americans flock to pick cantaloupes.

The 'new' immigration law will not solidify anything. Unless you want to pay 14 bucks for a head of lettuce and cantaloupes... What reputation? Winner? Spare us all. Mylanta? For what? Diarrhea? Very nice and pretentious is your description of 'forced labor and unskilled poverty stricken Americans'... Forced labor? Really? Where are we? Siberia? The unskilled poverty stricken Americans are all at the DOL line, hun, and oh btw; they keep moving to Atlanta. The illegals and trafficked persons are picking cantaloupes.

The state of Georgia has as bad- if not worse- human rights record than Siberia. Those mexicans had no idea where they were and the cruelty which this state can show. This new law is very humane compared to what has happened when Georgia really shows it's teeth.

Didn't georgia just place 4th state In the nation for most attractive state for businesses? So how are we now 33rd in three span of about a week?

That should give you some idea how accurate these studies are when read without considering other context. Looking at several might show a useful trend, but one doesn't mean all that much.

Very interesting article. It seems pretty accurate. Nashville is up and coming. Raleigh. St.Louis and Columbus have been making a comeback for years and its going to be exciting to see what happens in those cities.

While I agree that the new immigration law (with most of the most horrible elements barred for now thank god) is stupid and short sighted, how in the world does it equate to being compared to Georgia having a human rights record worse than Siberia?

Are people being sent off to work camps and their certain death? Are people being shot in public for dissonance? Are people being sent for re-education?

I am no fan of the politics in Georgia outside the city of Atlanta and ITP, but writing nonsense like this does no good because it is false, quite ridiculous and only lessens the moral high ground one stands on when they oppose such buffoonery like the Immigration law.

I may dislike Governor Deal and 90% of the buffoons in the Gold Dome, but they are decent human beings for the most part. Certainly not the type advocating mass murder.
