It seems odd to me that nothing has moved into the empty restaurant space at Peachtree and 15th Street in Colony Square. The site seems like a winner, but are there other issues I'm overlooking - parking, rent, etc.? The plaza that was created there looks great, but it would be even nicer with an active use behind it!

Good darn question!!!! It would certainly be supported by the neighbors were it a decent place. Houlihans (there previously) was once very good. Unfortunately, it went way down hill in its final years. Living right behind there, I've personally always wished a Macaroni Grill would come along.

Some gimmicky national chain? No.
Maybe something more in line with Brookwood Grill, Garrison's, or...
Ippolito's.
Local fare!

Something like Harry's in a Hurry would be great right there.

Are they still in business? We used to go to the Harry's Market in the space now occupied by Urban Outfitters on Ponce, up until the Whole Food's put them out of business. They were great and used to have the only German deli worker that we could find ITP.

There must be too many offers that the owners can't decide! An empty space on the most busy street of in-town Atlanta could draw the likes of 7-11 or high end like Applebees.

Harry's in a Hurry is out of business, but something similar to that concept would be a nice idea. On weekends there are a few places open on Sat in the food court at colony square, but there is nothing on sundays. A quick serve place with a grocery-take out would be good for the condo dwellers along peachtree in that area.
