I don't have a PS3, but I'm a huge David Jaffe fan (mainly because of God of War, but I also loved Twisted Metal). Anyway, I was looking at a trailer for the new Twisted Metal game and saw the Atlanta skyline.

I'm guessing it is part of someone's backstory because the TM games usually take place in fictional locations. Or they may just be using Atlanta as a generic skyline for one of these locales.

Anyway, always nice to see our city get in the media.

Atlanta skyline shot is 1:11 in. Anybody who has the game, can you explain the context for the Atlanta shot?

Actually Twisted Metal has always been in real locations, starting with LA (at least the ones I've played, admittedly it's been awhile). This one doesn't seem to have any real settings so I'm sure it was just a random skyline shot, but I have it so I'll let you know if I catch anything.

That is correct. I have TM2 and 3 (old school PS1 games), and they include LA, NY, Paris, Moscow, and a few other cities that I can remember (in the Paris level there is a way you can knock down the Eiffel Tower if I remember correctly).

The new Twisted Metal is already on my Amazon wish list, and hearing that it features the Atlanta skyline makes me that much more excited to get the game.
